Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards of the pool area, including water quality and chemical balance.
- Assist guests with poolside amenities, such as towels, lounge chairs, and umbrellas, ensuring a comfortable experience.
- Enforce resort policies and safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure environment for all guests.
- Provide attentive and courteous service, including serving beverages and light snacks to guests at the poolside.
- Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment (e.g., filters, pumps) and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down poolside events or activities, such as yoga sessions or private gatherings.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to uphold the resort’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry (hotels, resorts, or luxury clubs preferred).
- Strong swimming ability and knowledge of pool safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods in outdoor conditions.
- Basic understanding of pool maintenance and water treatment (training provided).
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is highly advantageous.
