Responsibility
- Develop and implement safety policies and guidelines for user interactions on TikTok.
- Monitor and analyze trends in user behavior to identify potential risks and areas for policy improvement.
- Collaborate with legal, product, and operations teams to ensure compliance with global regulations and internal standards.
- Lead initiatives to enhance user safety through proactive policy enforcement and community engagement.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on policy interpretation and enforcement.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including regulators and advocacy groups, to represent TikTok's commitment to safety.
- Drive continuous improvement in policy frameworks to adapt to evolving digital landscapes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in policy development, trust and safety, or related roles within the tech industry.
- Strong understanding of global digital safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate policy decisions clearly and effectively.
- Experience in stakeholder management, including engagement with regulators and advocacy groups.
