Responsibility
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, enterprise-grade data architectures that support AI and machine learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data strategies, governance frameworks, and integration roadmaps.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards across all solutions.
- Drive proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives to validate new technologies and approaches before full-scale deployment.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating business objectives into technical requirements and actionable plans.
- Optimize data pipelines and infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or principal role.
- Proven expertise in designing and deploying cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong proficiency in big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and modern data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift).
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and their integration into data ecosystems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.
