Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain enterprise data pipelines during night shift hours to ensure 24/7 operational continuity.
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation to guarantee accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies or system errors in real-time, escalating issues as needed.
- Collaborate with global IT and business teams to implement data governance policies and best practices.
- Automate repetitive data processes using scripts (Python, SQL) to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Generate and distribute nightly data reports for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and anomalies.
- Assist in the migration and integration of new data sources into existing platforms.
- Document all operational procedures, incidents, and resolutions for future reference and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in data operations, database administration, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica) for data manipulation and automation.
- Strong understanding of data integrity, validation, and quality control principles.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Ability to work night shifts (e.g., 10 PM – 6 AM) with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate with global teams.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001) is a plus.
