Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for both functional and non-functional testing (performance, security, usability).
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve software quality and reliability.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate for best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in QA automation, AI-driven testing, and test frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in automation testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C# for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and version control systems (Git).
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a collaborative approach to software development.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to articulate technical issues clearly.
