Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to optimize data models and ensure data accuracy.
- Implement and manage data storage solutions, including databases and data lakes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain data governance and security policies.
- Automate data workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing solutions.
