Responsibility
- Assist podiatrists in conducting comprehensive foot assessments for diabetic patients
- Implement individualized treatment plans for Diabetic Foot Syndrome (DFS) management
- Perform wound care and dressing changes under professional supervision
- Educate patients on proper foot care, preventive measures, and diabetic foot health
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and treatment areas
- Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising podiatrist
- Assist in fitting and recommending appropriate diabetic footwear
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Podiatry, Nursing, or related healthcare field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in podiatry, wound care, or diabetic foot management
- Strong understanding of diabetic foot complications and preventive care
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional Indonesian language skills a plus)
- Compassionate patient care approach with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Basic computer skills for patient record management
- Certification in wound care or diabetic foot management is advantageous
