Join Citra Borneo Indah, a leading name in the palm oil industry, as our Plantation Pest Control Assistant (HPT) in beautiful Bali, Indonesia. This full-time role is perfect for individuals passionate about sustainable agriculture and pest management in tropical plantations. You'll play a crucial part in maintaining the health and productivity of our palm oil estates while working in some of Bali's most desirable locations including Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung.
As an integral member of our plantation team, you'll be responsible for coordinating and implementing effective pest control measures to protect our valuable palm oil crops. You'll collaborate with experienced agronomists and plantation managers to develop and execute integrated pest management strategies that balance effectiveness with environmental sustainability.

Responsibility
- Coordinate and implement integrated pest management (IPM) programs for palm oil plantations
- Monitor and identify pest threats (HPT) affecting oil palm trees across designated plantation areas
- Apply and supervise the safe and effective use of pesticides and biological control methods
- Maintain accurate records of pest populations, treatment applications, and plantation health
- Collaborate with plantation managers to develop site-specific pest control strategies
- Conduct regular field inspections to assess pest damage and treatment effectiveness
- Train and supervise field workers in proper pest identification and control techniques
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and company safety protocols
- Prepare reports on pest control activities and recommend improvements to management
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Plant Protection, Agronomy, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in pest control or plantation management (palm oil experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM) principles and practices
- Familiarity with common oil palm pests and diseases (HPT) in tropical environments
- Basic understanding of pesticide application techniques and safety procedures
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in tropical conditions
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between plantation sites
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting
