Responsibility
- Coordinate daily farm production activities, including planting, harvesting, and post-harvest handling of fresh produce.
- Monitor crop health and quality, ensuring adherence to organic and sustainable farming standards.
- Assist in inventory management, tracking stock levels, and coordinating with logistics teams for timely distribution.
- Support the implementation of food safety and quality control protocols to meet industry standards.
- Collaborate with farm supervisors to plan and execute efficient harvest schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of farm operations, including production yields, inventory, and equipment usage.
- Assist in the maintenance of farm equipment and infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving farm productivity and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in farm operations, agriculture, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of fresh produce farming, crop management, or inventory control.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sustainable farming practices is a plus.
- Physical stamina and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
