Responsibility
- Operate, monitor, and inspect plant machinery and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and production delays.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with industry and company safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and efficiency upgrades.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
- Adhere to environmental regulations and company policies to promote sustainable operations.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma or associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Plant Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and control panels.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, ISO) and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
