Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily plant operations, ensuring optimal performance of water filtration systems.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations in all plant activities.
- Lead, train, and mentor plant staff, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity.
- Manage inventory of supplies, chemicals, and spare parts, ensuring timely procurement and cost-effective usage.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on plant performance, incidents, and maintenance activities to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water treatment, filtration plant operations, or a similar industrial environment.
- Proven leadership skills with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, managing teams and operational workflows.
- Strong knowledge of water filtration systems, pumps, valves, and control systems.
- Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations pertaining to water treatment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SCADA systems, and plant management software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) and ability to work in a multicultural team.
