Responsibility
- Operate and monitor the Alfa Laval Wet Extraction Plant to ensure smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted production.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure operational safety.
- Adjust machine settings and parameters to optimize extraction efficiency and product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues, escalating complex problems to the maintenance team as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of production data, including output volumes, machine performance, and any anomalies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, SOPs, and regulatory compliance standards to minimize workplace hazards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality control and maintenance, to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the training of new operators and provide guidance on best practices for plant operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Process Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Plant Operator, Machine Operator, or Production Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with Alfa Laval equipment or wet extraction systems is a strong advantage.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and process flow diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and address operational inefficiencies.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and monitoring systems.
