Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
- Lead, train, and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and inventory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and arrange maintenance as needed.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, logistics, and procurement, to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality control principles (e.g., Six Sigma, 5S, TPM).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address operational challenges effectively.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems, MS Office, and production management software.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in manufacturing environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
