Responsibility
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure the best deals.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Monitor and track deliveries to confirm on-time arrival and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to streamline procurement.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role (1-3 years preferred).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and procurement software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of supply chain logistics and inventory management is a plus.
