Responsibility
- Oversee daily plant operations to ensure maximum uptime, efficiency, and adherence to production schedules.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
- Implement and enforce rigorous maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, and material handling equipment to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and optimize production processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a culture of zero incidents.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for plant expansion, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to streamline supply chain and inventory management.
- Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance, KPIs, and operational metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in plant management, manufacturing operations, or a similar leadership role in a high-volume production environment.
- Proven track record in managing mechanical, electrical, and material handling systems with a focus on uptime optimization.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance in cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven approach to operational challenges.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, OSHA regulations, and other industry-specific compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), and other operational software.
