Responsibility
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, safety standards, and quality goals are met.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international regulations related to manufacturing and safety.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize resource allocation, reduce waste, and improve cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to streamline operations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Foster a safe and inclusive work environment by promoting best practices in workplace safety and employee well-being.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a plant management or senior operations role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of driving operational excellence.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a data-driven approach.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools (e.g., ERP, MES) to monitor and improve operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
