Responsibility
- Coordinate with machine operators during close-up procedures to ensure smooth batch transitions and by-pass sequences.
- Monitor and control production equipment to maintain optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
- Document production activities, including batch records, equipment status, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Train and mentor junior operators on best practices, safety protocols, and equipment handling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and maintenance, to resolve technical challenges.
- Adhere to all company policies, industry regulations, and environmental health and safety (EHS) guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Machine Operator, Master Operator, or in a similar role within the manufacturing or production industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of production machinery, control systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and production schedules.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with operators and other departments.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA) is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
