Responsibility
- Oversee and maintain the Halal Assurance System (HAS) to ensure compliance with Halal standards.
- Coordinate Halal certification activities, including documentation, audits, and inspections.
- Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with Halal regulations and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement and maintain Halal standards in production, logistics, and quality control.
- Liaise with Halal certification bodies and regulatory authorities to ensure timely and accurate certification processes.
- Develop and implement training programs to educate staff on Halal requirements and best practices.
- Monitor and report on Halal compliance status, providing recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in Halal regulations and industry trends to ensure continuous compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Islamic Studies, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Halal certification, quality assurance, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Halal standards, regulations, and certification processes.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance.
- Ability to conduct audits and inspections with a keen eye for detail.
