Responsibility
- Develop and implement supplier quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of suppliers specializing in machining, casting, and forging.
- Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to evaluate and select high-quality suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics (e.g., defect rates, delivery times) and drive corrective actions.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for quality issues.
- Train and mentor suppliers on quality control processes and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to contractual quality requirements and customer specifications.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality management, preferably in machining, casting, or forging.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO, AS9100, IATF 16949) and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proven experience in supplier audits, RCA, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, 8D, PPAP).
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
