Responsibility
- Oversee daily plant operations to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Collaborate with production teams to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve process efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and optimize energy consumption, utility usage, and operational costs to enhance sustainability.
- Lead or participate in capital improvement projects, including equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards and industry best practices in all engineering activities.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in plant engineering, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance.
- Proven expertise in process optimization, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance management.
- Familiarity with PLC systems, automation, and industrial control systems is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols (OSHA, ISO standards) and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in CAD software, CMMS, or other engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
