Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery without compromising quality.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and professional development.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance analyses to optimize mechanical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., electrical, civil, and software engineers) to integrate systems seamlessly.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and documentation for stakeholders and clients.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and implementing innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role.
- Proven expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), FEA analysis, and 3D modeling.
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science as applied to mechanical systems.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Agile/Lean methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to liaise with clients and teams.
- Familiarity with ISO, ASME, or API standards and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a proactive and adaptive mindset.
