Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using PLC programming, robotics, and CNC systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency
  • Lead Industry 4.0 initiatives by integrating IoT devices, sensors, and smart manufacturing technologies into existing production lines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and drive continuous process improvement
  • Develop and maintain automation documentation, including system specifications, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analyses for proposed automation projects to support data-driven decision making
  • Provide technical leadership and training to production teams on new automation systems and technologies
  • Monitor and optimize automated systems to ensure maximum uptime, efficiency, and product quality
  • Stay abreast of emerging automation technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing automation, PLC programming, or robotics engineering
  • Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar) and industrial robotics (ABB, Fanuc, KUKA)
  • Experience with CNC automation, motion control systems, and industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus)
  • Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts, IoT integration, and smart manufacturing technologies
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and simulation tools for automation design and testing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems
  • Strong communication skills in English with ability to document technical processes clearly
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
