Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee and plant-based beverages with precision and consistency.
- Engage with customers, providing personalized recommendations and delivering exceptional service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Educate customers about our plant-based menu, coffee origins, and brewing methods.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth café operations, including inventory management and restocking.
- Create visually appealing coffee art and presentations to enhance the customer experience.
- Handle cash transactions and POS system operations accurately and professionally.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new coffee trends, techniques, and sustainability practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop or similar environment (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, equipment, and plant-based milk alternatives.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Passion for sustainability, plant-based products, and ethical sourcing.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory tracking.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings as required.
- Certification in coffee brewing or barista training is a plus.
