Responsibility
- Prepare and cook dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and stock levels for kitchen supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Support the kitchen team in plating and garnishing dishes to meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with senior chefs to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with health and safety protocols.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance culinary skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or culinary environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Passion for cooking and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
- Familiarity with Indonesian and international cuisine is a plus.
