Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive master schedules for large-scale construction projects using industry-standard software (Primavera P6/MS Project).
  • Analyze project progress and identify critical path variances, providing recommendations to rectify potential delays.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress against the baseline and report deviations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with procurement and project management teams to align resource availability with the construction schedule.
  • Prepare detailed weekly and monthly progress reports, including S-curves and histograms, for management review.
  • Lead planning meetings and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure schedule integration and alignment.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to ensure project continuity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction industry.
  • Expertise in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is mandatory.
  • In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, workflows, and resource management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively manage stakeholders.
  • Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PSP) is a significant advantage.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple project timelines simultaneously.
