Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic logistics plans to optimize supply chain operations for agricultural products.
- Coordinate and manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control systems to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics activities with business goals.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to agricultural product transportation and storage.
- Negotiate contracts with third-party logistics providers to secure favorable terms and service levels.
- Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role, preferably in the agricultural sector.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software, ERP systems, and inventory management tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with local and international logistics regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
