Responsibility
- Lead the design, engineering, and installation of piping systems for FPSO projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards (ASME, API, DNV).
- Oversee piping layout, material selection, and stress analysis to optimize system performance and safety.
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and process engineering teams to integrate piping systems into FPSO designs.
- Manage contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for piping-related hazards.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including P&IDs, isometrics, and material take-offs (MTOs).
- Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in piping engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in FPSO or offshore oil and gas projects.
- Proficiency in piping design software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS, or Aveva E3D).
- Strong knowledge of international piping codes and standards (ASME B31.3, API 570, DNVGL).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage remote teams.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali or travel as required.
