Responsibility
- Assist senior welders in pipe fabrication, assembly, and installation projects.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding under supervision to meet industry standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate execution.
- Inspect and test welded joints for quality, strength, and leak-proof integrity.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Assist in material preparation, cutting, and fitting for welding tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines and specifications are met.
- Participate in training sessions to improve welding techniques and industry knowledge.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a vocational training program, diploma, or degree in Welding, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) and metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for manual labor.
- Commitment to safety, precision, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of workshop tools and equipment is a plus.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward feedback.
