Responsibility
- Assist physiotherapists in conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Prepare and set up therapy equipment and treatment areas for patient sessions.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities under the supervision of a physiotherapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Provide support to patients during mobility exercises, transfers, and ambulation.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for home exercises and injury prevention.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment in compliance with hospital standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, or a related healthcare field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Therapy Assistant or in a similar role (fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Basic knowledge of physiotherapy techniques, equipment, and patient safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying patient needs.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian or other local languages is a plus.
