Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments to diagnose physical conditions and functional limitations.
- Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans for a diverse range of patient populations.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other occupational therapists, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reports in accordance with hospital standards.
- Participate in clinical research projects and quality improvement initiatives to enhance department services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) of Singapore.
- Proven clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and clinical teams.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
- Physically fit and able to assist with patient movement and manual therapy tasks.
