Responsibility

  • Perform comprehensive clinical assessments to diagnose physical conditions and functional limitations.
  • Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans for a diverse range of patient populations.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other occupational therapists, to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reports in accordance with hospital standards.
  • Participate in clinical research projects and quality improvement initiatives to enhance department services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) of Singapore.
  • Proven clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and clinical teams.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
