Responsibility
- Monitor and control the operation of photovoltaic power plants to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of solar panels, inverters, and other critical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and maximize energy production.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of plant operations, including energy output, equipment status, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance teams to implement improvements and upgrades.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff and new hires.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining photovoltaic power plants or similar renewable energy systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems, including inverters, transformers, and SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory requirements for power plant operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in using monitoring and control software for power plant operations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
