Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and interactive phonics lessons to small groups or individual students.
- Assess students' reading and pronunciation skills and tailor lessons to their needs.
- Create fun and effective learning materials to enhance phonics instruction.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with other tutors and staff to develop innovative teaching strategies.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom environment.
- Participate in training and professional development sessions.
- Adhere to the center's policies and educational standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in teaching phonics or early literacy skills.
- Strong understanding of phonics principles and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and enthusiasm for working with young learners.
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Familiarity with educational tools and resources for phonics instruction.
- A degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required.
