Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and rotating medications to ensure optimal supply levels.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, explaining medication details, and offering guidance on proper usage.
- Process and verify prescription orders using digital systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sterile pharmacy workstations in accordance with hygiene and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to streamline workflows and improve patient care coordination.
- Handle cashiering and billing tasks, including insurance claims processing and payment collections.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated on pharmaceutical best practices and new medications.
Qualifications
- A diploma or certification in Pharmacy Technology from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital, clinic, or retail pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, dosage calculations, and drug interactions.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and digital prescription systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling and record-keeping.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Familiarity with Indonesian healthcare regulations and pharmacy standards is a plus.
