Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and label medications, ensuring proper dosage and patient instructions.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking supplies.
- Process patient prescriptions and verify insurance information when applicable.
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare staff.
- Operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems.
- Support infection control and safety protocols within the pharmacy.
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Pharmacy Technology or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medications, and dosage calculations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office tools.
