Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions testing.
- Interpret test results and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with hearing loss, tinnitus, or balance disorders.
- Fit, program, and adjust hearing aids and other assistive listening devices using the latest technology and evidence-based practices.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing health, communication strategies, and device maintenance.
- Collaborate with ENT specialists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies.
- Stay current with advancements in audiology through continuous professional development and training.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote hearing health awareness and early intervention.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D. or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Valid professional license or certification to practice audiology in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in audiology, with a strong background in diagnostic testing and hearing aid fitting.
- Proficiency in using audiological equipment and software, including tympanometers, audiometers, and hearing aid programming tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
