Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently to patients.
- Manage and organize pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and rotating medications to prevent shortages or expirations.
- Process and verify patient prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, offering medication advice (under pharmacist supervision), and resolving concerns.
- Maintain detailed records of dispensed medications, patient interactions, and inventory transactions.
- Operate and maintain pharmacy software systems for prescription processing, billing, and reporting.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, and pharmacists) to ensure seamless patient care.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in handling patient information.
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Pharmacy Technology or a related field (recognized by Indonesian or international standards).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital, clinic, or retail pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, and drug interactions.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and basic computer skills (MS Office, inventory systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications and patient data.
