Responsibility
- Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize patient flow, reduce wait times, and improve overall departmental efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as patient satisfaction, treatment times, and resource utilization, and drive data-informed improvements.
- Coordinate with hospital leadership, medical staff, and external stakeholders to align ED operations with organizational goals and community health needs.
- Manage budgetary responsibilities, including staffing, equipment procurement, and facility upgrades, to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
- Spearhead emergency preparedness initiatives, including disaster response planning, training, and drills to maintain readiness for large-scale incidents.
- Champion patient-centered care by implementing best practices in triage, treatment, and discharge processes, with a focus on equity and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Medicine, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in emergency department operations, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency, patient outcomes, and staff performance in a high-volume ED setting.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards (e.g., JCI), and emergency medicine best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire teams and manage conflicts effectively.
- Proficiency in healthcare management software, data analytics tools, and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Certification in emergency management, healthcare quality, or related areas (e.g., CEM, CPHQ) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous but not required.
