Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing and distributing generic medicines accurately and efficiently.
- Control and monitor pharmacy inventory, including stock levels, expiration dates, and supply orders.
- Promote the use of generic medicines by providing clear, informative guidance to patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of medication distribution, patient interactions, and inventory transactions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, offering advice on over-the-counter products and general health information.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care and operational workflows.
- Participate in health promotion activities, such as educational campaigns on the benefits of generic medicines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in Pharmacy Assistance or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or customer service role is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions for medication handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and colleagues.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, generic drugs, and pharmacy operations.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software or inventory systems.
