Responsibility
- Conduct nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET/CT, SPECT, and other diagnostic scans, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients while ensuring proper dosage, handling, and disposal in compliance with radiation safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, performing quality control checks and troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
- Analyze imaging data and provide preliminary interpretations to assist physicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with senior Nuclear Medicine Technologists (NMTs) in training and supervising junior staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and institutional policies.
- Maintain detailed patient records, imaging reports, and procedural documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
- Educate patients and their families on nuclear medicine procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring a comfortable and informed experience.
- Participate in research projects, clinical trials, and continuous professional development to stay abreast of advancements in nuclear medicine technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiologic Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid certification or licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (e.g., CNMT, ARRT-N, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in nuclear medicine imaging, preferably in a hospital or diagnostic center setting.
- Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine equipment, including gamma cameras, PET/CT scanners, and dose calibrators.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles, ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) guidelines, and regulatory compliance (e.g., IAEA, local health authorities).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and adapt to a multicultural, patient-centered healthcare setting.
