Responsibility
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional assistance to customers, addressing inquiries about medications, health products, and wellness solutions with accuracy and empathy.
- Prescription Management: Assist pharmacists in processing, verifying, and dispensing prescriptions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing medications and supplies to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Sales & Target Achievement: Actively contribute to sales goals by promoting pharmacy products, upselling relevant items, and providing personalized recommendations based on customer needs.
- Operational Support: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing pharmacy environment, including product displays, signage, and point-of-sale systems.
- Transaction Processing: Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately, ensuring smooth and secure transactions for all customers.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all pharmacy regulations, including proper storage of medications, documentation of controlled substances, and confidentiality of patient information.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacists, healthcare staff, and retail teams to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma (D3) in Pharmacy or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Certification: Valid pharmacy assistant certification or license (e.g., SIPA in Indonesia) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or retail environment; experience in a high-traffic or international setting is advantageous.
- Pharmaceutical Knowledge: Strong understanding of medications, dosage forms, and basic pharmacology principles.
- Customer Service Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on building trust and rapport with diverse customers, including expatriates and tourists.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling prescriptions, inventory, and transactions to ensure patient safety and operational efficiency.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with pharmacy management software, POS systems, and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel).
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Russian) are a strong asset.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
