Responsibility
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Assist in compounding and labeling prescriptions to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients, addressing inquiries, and offering guidance on over-the-counter products.
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and organizing pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with privacy regulations.
- Support pharmacists in administrative tasks, including processing insurance claims and managing prescription workflows.
- Educate patients on proper medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
- Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pharmacy workspace.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Pharmacy or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a similar role (fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, drug interactions, and dosage calculations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal errors.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management software and basic computer skills.
