Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and organizing pharmacy products.
- Process customer transactions, handle cash registers, and maintain accurate records of sales and prescriptions.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Educate customers on the proper use of medications, over-the-counter products, and health supplements.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve daily targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Pharmacy or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a similar role, preferably in a retail pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medications, and health supplements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in dispensing medications and handling transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and inventory management systems is a plus.
- Certification or license as a Pharmacy Assistant (if applicable) is highly preferred.
