As a Pharmacist, you will ensure the accurate dispensing of medications, provide expert drug information to patients and medical staff, and uphold the highest standards of pharmaceutical safety and compliance. Responsibility
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while verifying patient information and dosage instructions.
- Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and drug interactions to ensure safe and effective therapy.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare teams to optimize drug therapy and monitor patient progress.
- Maintain inventory control of pharmaceutical supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage conditions.
- Review and process medication orders, checking for allergies, contraindications, and potential drug interactions.
- Participate in clinical rounds and contribute to patient care plans with evidence-based pharmaceutical recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and pharmaceutical best practices.
- Educate healthcare staff and patients on new medications, protocols, and health promotion strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (S.Farm) from an accredited institution; licensed pharmacist (Apoteker) in Indonesia.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting (fresh graduates with strong academic records may be considered).
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, doctors, and healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical standards, and continuous professional development.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional local language skills (e.g., Balinese) are a plus.
