Responsibility
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments of pharmaceutical products, ensuring adherence to temperature control and regulatory standards.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
- Process customer orders efficiently, verifying details, and ensuring timely dispatch to meet delivery deadlines.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipping delays or documentation issues.
- Maintain compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and other pharmaceutical logistics regulations.
- Utilize logistics software (e.g., ERP, WMS) to track shipments, generate reports, and analyze supply chain performance.
- Assist in the preparation of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and export/import permits.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure products are stored and transported under optimal conditions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, preferably within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or cold chain industries.
- Strong knowledge of GDP, GMP, and other regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical distribution.
- Proficiency in logistics management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-pressure environment.
- Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and international shipping documentation is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate global shipment schedules.
