Join a dynamic team in Bali as a Pharmaceutical Distribution Compliance Specialist, ensuring seamless adherence to Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) regulations for pharmaceutical logistics and distribution. This role is critical in maintaining operational excellence while safeguarding public health standards across Indonesia’s rapidly growing healthcare sector.

Based in the vibrant Badung region (covering Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, or Kuta), you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline distribution processes, mitigate compliance risks, and uphold the highest ethical and legal standards. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and integrity of pharmaceutical supply chains, contributing to improved healthcare access nationwide.

Ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a passion for regulatory compliance and process optimization in the manufacturing, transportation, or logistics industries. Competitive salary, full-time benefits, and the opportunity to work in one of Indonesia’s most sought-after locations.

Responsibility

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Permenkes (Ministry of Health) regulations for pharmaceutical distribution, including storage, handling, and transportation.
  • Conduct regular audits of distribution centers, warehouses, and logistics partners to verify adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GDP (Good Distribution Practice) standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for distribution workflows, documentation, and reporting.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., procurement, quality assurance) and external parties (e.g., regulators, suppliers) to resolve compliance gaps.
  • Train and educate staff on regulatory requirements, best practices, and risk mitigation strategies in pharmaceutical logistics.
  • Investigate and document non-compliance incidents, proposing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to leadership.
  • Stay updated on changes in Indonesian pharmaceutical laws and industry trends, advising management on necessary adjustments.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies and internal auditors as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Certification in GDP/GMP is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical distribution, regulatory compliance, or quality assurance within the healthcare/logistics sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian pharmaceutical regulations (Permenkes) and international standards (e.g., WHO, PIC/S).
  • Proven ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable business processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and regulators.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/logistics management systems.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; ability to draft technical reports in both languages.
