Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting pet owners with inquiries, product recommendations, and purchases.
- Care for canine companions, including feeding, grooming, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment, including restocking shelves and displays.
- Assist in inventory management, tracking stock levels, and reporting low supplies to the manager.
- Educate customers on pet care best practices, products, and services available in the shop.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service, retail, or a similar role, preferably in a pet-related environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.
- Basic knowledge of pet care, particularly for dogs, including feeding, grooming, and health needs.
- Cashiering experience, with the ability to handle transactions and manage point-of-sale systems.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain shop cleanliness and inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
- Passion for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality care and service.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or holidays as required.
