Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for assigned funds, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly fund accounting activities, including NAV calculations, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes and address any discrepancies.
- Monitor and analyze fund performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of corporate actions, dividends, and income distributions.
- Assist in the preparation of investor reports, regulatory filings, and other financial disclosures.
- Liaise with custodians, fund administrators, and other stakeholders to resolve accounting-related issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in fund accounting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial instruments, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Bloomberg, Reuters, or fund accounting platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
