As the People and Culture Manager, you will be the driving force behind fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. Based in Badung, you’ll collaborate with hotel leadership to implement innovative HR initiatives, support career development, and maintain a work environment where every employee feels valued and empowered. Whether you’re organizing team-building activities in Ubud’s lush landscapes or resolving workplace challenges with diplomacy, your role will be pivotal in sustaining Accor’s reputation as an employer of choice in Indonesia’s thriving hospitality sector.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top-tier candidates for all hotel departments.
- Develop and implement employee engagement programs to boost morale, retention, and productivity in a multicultural workforce.
- Ensure full compliance with Indonesian labor laws and Accor’s internal policies, including payroll, contracts, and workplace safety.
- Design and deliver training and development initiatives to upskill staff and align their growth with business objectives.
- Manage performance appraisal systems, including goal-setting, feedback sessions, and recognition programs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hotel leadership on HR best practices, conflict resolution, and organizational development.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive and equitable packages.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to create a welcoming environment for all employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in the hospitality or service industry.
- Proven track record in talent management, employee relations, and HR strategy in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and experience working in a multicultural setting.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Passion for service excellence and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry’s unique demands.
