Ltd. is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Technician to join our expanding team in Kranji. As the final line of defense before a vehicle reaches our customer, you will play a critical role in upholding our reputation for excellence and reliability.
In this position, you will be responsible for the comprehensive inspection and preparation of new and pre-owned vehicles. Responsibility
- Perform rigorous pre-delivery inspections (PDI) according to strict manufacturer and company quality checklists.
- Conduct functional testing of vehicle systems, including electrical, engine, steering, and braking components.
- Execute cosmetic checks to identify and resolve any paint, trim, or interior finish imperfections.
- Perform fluid level checks, battery voltage testing, and software updates as required.
- Maintain high-level documentation and reporting for all inspected units to ensure complete traceability.
- Coordinate with the detailing and workshop teams to prioritize vehicles based on delivery schedules.
- Ensure all safety protocols and workplace cleanliness standards are strictly adhered to at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum Nitec/Higher Nitec in Automotive Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- At least 1-2 years of proven experience as an automotive technician or workshop assistant.
- Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostic tools and automotive mechanical systems.
- Possession of a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license is required.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle mechanical or cosmetic faults.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting daily output targets.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
