Responsibility
- Oversee and execute end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Prepare and present detailed payroll reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, discrepancies, and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations, and company SOPs for payroll, benefits, and deductions.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external auditors to resolve payroll-related queries and conduct periodic audits.
- Develop and maintain payroll documentation, SOPs, and internal controls to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
- Lead the monthly and yearly payroll closing processes, including tax calculations (e.g., PPh 21) and social security contributions (BPJS).
- Train and mentor payroll team members on best practices, system usage, and regulatory updates.
- Implement process automation and digital tools to enhance payroll accuracy and reduce manual workload.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field; certification in payroll management (e.g., CPP) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations, tax laws (PPh 21), and BPJS systems.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local systems like Gajihub) and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage confidential data with integrity and handle high-volume payroll cycles under tight deadlines.
- Experience in multi-location payroll and familiarity with ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; ability to create clear reports and presentations.
